“Top” Charities

We all desire to be blessed; whether by our parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, or teachers.  Do you remember a time you planned and then gave a blessing to a family member, friend, teacher, or even a stranger?

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  When we follow His words, and give to others, then we are blessed.

Here are two organization we personally know are making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Bread of Life

Our brother, Richard, his wife, Brooke, and daughter, Adelyne, are missionaries with In Touch Missions International to the country of Poland.  They moved there in 2001 to teach English to university students using the Bible as their textbook.  While traveling by train to teach English, they noticed many homeless men, women, and teenagers in the train station trying to get out of the winter’s rain, snow, and wind.

Their hearts went out to these people in desperate need.  They returned to the train station on a cold wintry night and passed out three granola bars, three gospel tracks, and three cups of hot tea.  Richard prayed that Jesus would multiply these humble gifts like He did the 5 loves and 2 fishes over 2000 years ago.  These initial three humble cups of tea have now expanded to a homeless ministry in five Polish cities, the country of Moldova, and the Ivory Coast in Africa.  They now serve over 28,000 people a year.  Jesus has certainly multiplied the original 3 cups of tea!

In Touch Missions International is located in Tempe, Arizona.  Their outreach around the world can be viewed at www.intouchmissionsinternational.org.  Check out their sub menus of Projects > Poland Projects > Richard and Brooke Nungesser AND Bread of Life Foundation AND New Life Center AND Poznan International Church.

Top Raw Men George, Charles, and Chic Flavor Coralanne, have all personally seen the great work taking place in Poland.  The humanitarian need is so great.  Remember, “It is more blessed to give that to receive.”

African Children’s Mission

They have a tremendous ministry feeding thousands of children and educating some of the poorest children in Africa.  They have a school for the younger children and apprentice programs, teaching practical technical skills, for the older children.   They may be reached at www.africanchildrensmission.org.
